SDRF held the "2024 China Economic Forum" on the afternoon of November 26, with the theme of "Promoting the Sustainable Development of China's Economy". The supporting units are China Everbright Bank Shanghai Branch and United Ratings International Limited. Yide Qiao, vice chairman & secretary general of SDRF, chaired the agenda of the forum.
At first, Qifan Huang, former Mayor of Chongqing and Executive Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee of China National Innovation and Development Strategy Research Association, delivered a keynote speech and answered questions from the moderator and guests.
In the round table discussion that followed, five speakers made speeches respectively, they were: Zhu Tian, Professor of Economics at China Europe International Business School, "Debt and the Chinese Economy in 2025"; Lu Zhengwei, Chief Economist of Industrial Bank, "From infrastructure finance to Human capital finance, Innovation finance", Huangsong Liu, Vice president of Zhongxi Jinqiao International Media Holdings Co., LTD., special researcher of Shanghai Development Research Foundation, "The main problems existing in the current economy", Xingdong Chen, senior economic adviser of BNP Paribas and researcher of the National Institute of Economic Development of Southeast University, "The economic outlook in 2025 is more severe than that in 2024, and stimulus policies must be supported by reform programs." Xiaochun Liu, deputy dean of the China Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, "Build confidence on the basis of stable confidence."
