Financial support is the source of survival for the Foundation. As of the end of 1996, the Foundation had raised RMB 16.35 million. Nearly 30 enterprises donated the money, especially financial institutions and large companies. Greenland Group, Guosheng Group, and other companies also help the Foundation in other ways. For a long time, the board of directors of the Foundation has cherished the hard-won money. Under the precondition that the safety of the principal is ensured, the board of directors prudently utilizes the money of the Foundation to maintain and increase its value. In recent years, the Foundation obtained funds through applications for research programs and expanded the source of funds for the foundation.
